MY MOVIE WISHLIST: SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS

What’s it about? “A struggling screenwriter inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster’s beloved Shih Tzu.” —IMDB

Who made it? Directed and written by Martin McDonagh.

Who’s in it?  Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, and Abbie Cornish.

When’s it coming out? October 12, 2012.

Why do I want to see it?

  • Because Martin McDonagh also directed and wrote the dark comedy In Bruges, which I happened to like a whole hell of a lot.
  • Because seven psychopaths are more fun than one.
  • Because Sam Rockwell is one of my favorite actors, especially when he goes wacky (think Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and The Sitter).
  • Because nobody does a better Chris Walken than Chris Walken.

How much do I want to see it? (On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being I have to see this  and 1 being Okay, I’ll see it) 4: I really want to see this, and I’m willing to pay good money at the theater to do so.

Where’s the trailer already?

Anything else? Some nice pictures for you. After you look at them, go watch In Bruges a couple times.

Stoked that McDonagh, Rockwell, and Walken are working toteehgr again. Saw McDonagh’s play A Behanding in Spokane last year and Rockwell and Walken were amazing in it. And Woody Harrelson is a welcome addition.
