Michael Bay’s The Dark Knight Script

Do you ever sit and wonder what it would be like if the greatest comic book movie ever, The Dark Knight, had been directed by Michael Bay? I do. Every night. Would there have been more explosions, more boobies, more explosions, more CGI, more explosions? Who knows! These questions have been driving me insane since 2008 when the movie came out.

But finally there is an answer. A few pages of Michael Bay’s rejected script for The Dark Knight were recovered and posted on reddit(by user Jurstin) about a month ago, and it’s just as awesome as I could have imagined. Actually no, this script takes awesome, punches it in the gonads, pours gasoline on it and then drops a match on it while walking away from the flames in slow motion. Yeah!

Read the recovered pages below and then please write to Warner Bros., your congressman, and your pastor petitioning them to remake The Dark Knight using Michael Bay’s script. And once we achieve that, maybe we can then get Bay to work on his next big budget movie, Michael Bay Presents: Explosions. I’ve been waiting for this one since Robot Chicken premiered the trailer!
